Additional CSV Uses

About
Here are a few stuff you could do using the E.A.L CSV import plugin.

CSV Use #1
If you have a Lotto game that is a double matrix like PowerBall or Mega Millions then you could split the database up into 2 separate parts if need be. But usually only the first part of the Lotto game will be useful. So if you want to only focus on the Numbers and forget about the PowerBall or Mega Millions section then this is how you could do it.
CSV Use #2
Another thing you could do with the E.A.L CSV import plugin is combining two Lotto databases together and comparing the data. This is great if you want to see what combinations are present, and if the top tier Jackpot combination like 6 numbers are present in both Lotto databases.

The procedure is almost the same as above but please make sure that the data in the *.csv file is appropriate for the E.A.L Lotto Databases you want to combine.
  • Create an E.A.L Lotto Database file for the Lotto game in question. After this have been done, save and add the Lotto file to the E.A.L Lotto Database File Centre.
  • Then load the original E.A.L Lotto database files you wish to combine. Select all entries in the Winning Lotto Numbers List and save to a *.csv file.
  • Next load the E.A.L Lotto database created earlier and import the Lotto data accordingly. For the second *.csv file you import E.A.L will ask if you want to clear all entries, just say no.
