About
Another way to look at Lotto sequences/combinations is to use the table below. At the Bottom it starts with the very first sequence one can play. At the Top is the last sequence that can be played. Next to the listed sequences is its Matrix offset or Lexicographical Order.
Now to use it works like this.
From the Left choose the first Lotto number, for this example lets take the number 6.
Then the next Lotto number will start next and/or up to the the number 6. So we can only choose 7 and up. Anything below is off limits.
So let's take the number 11 as the next Lotto number. The same goes for the rest of the numbers by choosing numbers next and/or up from the number chosen.
Say we end up with the Lotto sequence: 06-11-13-24-34-45
This makes the Matrix offset between 6,924,765 and 7,887,363
The exact Matrix offset is: 7,324,106
Anyway, this table is to aid in choosing Lotto numbers and understanding the Matrix offset concept a bit better.
